A giant holiday wreath displays the stellar cycle of life – revealed by NASA’s Chandra and Webb space telescopes. The dark ring-like outline of the wreath seen in Webb data (represented as orange, yellow, green, and blue) is made up of dense dust-rich clouds. Chandra shows X-rays (red) powered by winds emitted by young, massive stars.
