These apparently conjoined moons masquerading as a snowman are actually two separate Saturnian moons – Dione and Rhea. The international Cassini spacecraft took the image from such an angle that they appear as one. In reality, Dione (top), the smaller moon, was slightly closer to Cassini than larger Rhea (bottom), creating the illusion.
