Galaxy Gallery: IRAS 21101

This bizarre galactic encounter has been witnessed by a huge crowd of Milky Way stars in the constellation of Cepheus. The interaction has caused distortion to both the lower and upper galaxy, with the latter sporting a detached and meager tail fading out behind it.
