Dr Tom Pike of Imperial College London works on the microscope station that is included in the Phoenix payload. Astronomy Now’s Website Editor Emily Baldwin caught up with Dr Pike at the Early Career Planetary Scientists' Meeting to discuss some of the findings of the successful Phoenix mission and plans for the future exploration of Mars.
